Good luck!

Tips for the Elite Soldier

The More important thing to do is be promoted. With each promotion, your towers are more powerfull, and you get an EXTRA Air Support call. Find bellow a table with the number of missions without casualties that are required to be promoted for all combinations of Career/ Level.

Number of missions without casualties to being promoted

Volunteer Career

Regular Career

Elite Career

Soldier Level : 7 promotions, from Private to Second Lieutenant

Officer Level: 6 promotions, from Second Lieutenant to Brigadier General

General Level: 4 promotions, from Brigadier General to General of the Army

So to be promoted in the Elite Career you have to keep your home free of enemies for 5, 6 or 7 consecutive missions. Here are some tips to get it (we will be adding more regularly)

1) Position the towers so that they can shoot to several paths. There are 4 possible routes followed by convoys of enemy tanks and there are enough strategic points on the maps where a tower well placed can shoot 3 of them and even at 4.

2) Prioritize the strategic placement of towers versus the loss of lives in a mission. Do not put a Laser Tower at the last possible point to avoid an armored vehicle escape, be patient and save your money to place a tower somewhere where the tower can shoot more times.

3) Choose carefully the type of tower to buy. The best measure of whether a tower is well placed is the number of times it shoots per mission. Missile towers are expensive, but can cover a large area, so that if you put in the right place can fire many times per mission. Anti Tank towers are the most powerful and have an intermediate reach. Laser towers are cheap, powerful and infallible, but are limited in reach.

4) One of the keys to be promoted is to use air support wisely. Keep in mind:

a) Use the bombers as soon as possible in the mission because it will cause damage to more vehicles.

b) Use it when you bring a significant number of missions without casualties, to achieve promotion.

5) Minefields are very expensive but very effective. Begins to use them from 30 or 40 missions, to slow the progress of convoys. Place Minefields in areas where you have concentrated a lot of firepower and where several roads converge.

They are not bugs!

...but features :)
I receive some emails on certain features of the game that can be misconstrued. Here are some in order of popularity

Symptom: Sporadic crashes in the Samsung Galaxy S2
Explanation: It's a problem with the implementation of class "SoundPool" in this device. See:
Solution: switch OFF sound

Symptom: When I try to install it says "unsuccessful unknown error -18"
Explanation: It's a problem with Android Market application
Solution:(Google support forum) : "Alright found a fix. I hooked my phone up to my computer, browsed to .android_secure and deleted the file 'smdl2tmp1.asec'. Problem solved. "

Symptom: Some of the towers on tracks vanish.
Explanation: The game allows you to place many towers on the tracks for emergency situations. However, at the end of the mission, the system will sell the towers that have virtually no ability to move, returning all the money to the user

Symptom: Countdown to nothing at the beginning of the mission.
Explanation: Error checking the license with the Android Market.
Solution: The first time you play, you have to have WiFi or Mobile Network ON!

Symptom: The first time the game load could run very slow in some phones (Galaxy S, …).
Explanation: It's a known issue.
Solution: Exit the game (phone BACK button) and restart it. The game will run smoothly.

Symptom: Icons of the roads and mines going off the screen.
Explanation: Icons of the roads and mines only appear when the game is paused.
Solution: Press the PAUSE icon.

Symptom: What exactly does the reward mean at the countdown?
Explanation: The reward message means the total value of next wave of tanks. The money is added as you kill tanks, so if you kill all the tanks you get all the reward.

The towers are not infallible!

Well, Laser Towers ARE infallible, because don’t have a “blind zone” as stated in the Training Camp information.

But both Anti-tank and Missile towers do have a “blind zone”, that is guilty of that sometimes fail shots.

Operation of the blind zone

In the case of Missile towers, when a tank goes into a blind zone, disappears from tower's radar, so the tower cannot shoot. Also, if a missile has been fired to this tank (just before it went into the blind zone), but still has not reached it, misses its target and explode on the ground.

In the case of Anti-tank towers, the blind zone represents the maximum angle of inclination of the cannon. The gun cannot shoot the tank that is just below!

Basic characteristics of the towers

Power: damage inflicted to tanks

Fire time: minimum time between shots (recharge time)

Range: maximum tower’s reach in game units (1 game unit is approximate the wide of the tanks)

Blind zone: also in game units

Laser Tower: power 220, fire time 1.2 seconds, range 3, no blind zone

Anti-tank Tower: power 120 x 2 (because fires two projectiles), fire time 1.3 seconds, range 4, blind zone 2

Missile Tower: power 200, fire time 1.4 seconds, range 5, blind zone 3
